An Evening with Adam Tranter Zoom 9th March

Post by Dave Cox » 21 Feb 2022 18:36

I hope this event will be off interest to members as we all ride around the West Midlands and beyond ?

On 9th March at 7.30 Push Bikes have organised a Zoom session with Adam Tranter recently appointed as Cycling and Walking Commissioner for the West Midlands.

This will be an informal discussion led by Shivaji Shiva (Vice Chair of Push Bikes) and an opportunity to ask questions with Adam as he starts his new role. We will send out an invitation and joining instructions soon.

We hope that you can join us and it would be good to know some questions in advance.

Let me know if you want to come along or send a message via our website here

Thanks

If any Beacon members are interested in how policies are going to be made and implemented for cycling and active travel across the West Midlands then this interview may be of interest. Over 40 local cycle campaigner attended and Shivaji Shiva's interview with Adam Tranter with questions from participants gave a lot of insights into the political and policy processes that are shaping transport policy and determine the nature of the roads that a Road Cycling Club uses !!!
