The set I was looking at are Clinchers, and have the alloy braking surface.

I'd be using them to replace my existing Ultegra wheels on my Specialized Roubaix, for anything from Club Runs and training rides, to Sportives and Time Trials.
Hoping to do some more Time Trials this year, but can't afford a specific TT Bike anytime soon.

The reviews all seem pretty good, and emphasis is on wheel strength, as opposed to purely minimum weight and/or aerodynamics.

For the weight I would say they are a bit overpriced, you would be better picking up a second hand pair of bulletproof cosmic carbones.

Cosmics are still the greatest of ALL time

2009 models are 10% lighter and only £650.00 a pair
