Blackburn AT4 track pump - daft question

Post by Hissing Sid » 18 May 2010 10:23

Is the Blackburn AT4 in the locked position when the lever is up or down?

On my old pump it was definately when it was in the up position but this one looks like it might be when it's down.

Any assistance would be great as I don't want to wreck the head.

Thanks Richard. That seems to work for me too. I just has this mental picture of me trying to jam it on with the lever in the wrong position and ruining the seal.

Just look at the seal, move the lever and see when the seal expands and contracts. Works every time. Amazing!
