Numb fingers

Post by Between Peaks » 11 Aug 2012 11:25

I've recently started riding my mountain bike again, but had been suffering from numb fingers after just a few miles so I shelled out for a pair of Ergon GP1 grips http://www.ergon-bike.com/us/en/product/gp1

Problem solved - I'm very impressed :)

I had the exact same problem but I went with the GP2 version about 2 years ago.

Hey presto.....no more numb fingers.

I used a set of those for doing LEJOG on my MTB... I ended up losing the use of my right thumb and two smaller fingers for about 6 months. Didn't help me at all. :P

Numb fingers in MTBing can just be down to weak tendons. I get it if I have a few months off and then hit some particularly tough trails.
