Good quality cardboard bicycle box

Post by slogfester » 04 May 2013 15:44

Just fished the box out of the shed that my bike was delivered in last year and found that it was half eaten by (now fat) woodlice! Need a disposable box for one-way flight.

So where is the best shop to get a good quality cardboard bicycle shop from in the central/south Birmingham area?

Thanks

Barry

Have you tried Halfords?
The sold my daughters old bike on ebay a couple of weeks ago and had to ship it to Oxford.
I went to Halfords in selly Oak and they were happy to give me one for free :)

Contact the airline, they'll probably have a designed-for-the-job version that you can buy at the airport. Did it when I came home from Sweden a few years back, easier to transport the bike then pack at the airport - just need to rotate the handlebars to fit in the box, don't need to remove wheels, just pedals.
The more I know, the less I understand.
