Planet X bikes. best value bike on market?

Post by Tim » 09 Aug 2013 22:53

I've just returned from a holiday in Tenerife where I hired a carbon planet x bike with ultegra set up. Cost just 30euros for the day, did 115miles and the bike was great so thought I'd check out what it would cost to buy as thinking might get something similar in next couple of years. All other carbon bikes I've seen with ultegra seem to be at c£2k+ mark.

Is £999 too good to be true?

You'll want to upgrade the wheels.

I had a carbon Planet X TT frame and it was possibly the best TT frame I have ridden. I sold it to buy an Isaac which was built and finished really well but in my opinion wasn't as good a frame as the PX.
I did regret selling that frame, it fitted like a glove!
