Shimano 105 bottom bracket
I noticed yesterday evening that there is some side to side play in the cranks.
Does this mean I have to get a new sealed bottom bracket?

How old is it? I've got an old 105 and the cranks are bolted into the ends of the BB axle - maybe one of them has come a bit loose.

It's 7-8 years old but I don't think it's a loose crank - I'll have another look

Don't say that, Chris! It was established last night that Dave has already spent £7 on tools to replace it himself.

Thanks everybody
I was just hoping I could give it a quick tweak with a £7 spanner and everything would be ok.
