Interesting. It would be helpful to see a comparison between the app and a professional system like Retul or Dartfish. This a actually closer to Dartfish, being a single sided view and looking at specific frames rather than an average over time.
Having completed the Retul training, I know how difficult it is to get the measurement points right. There are big differences between individuals when you're up close and personal, it's easy be off a little. I'm not convinced you'd be able to get them right on an iPhone screen.
Probably better than nothing, but not a panacea.
