9-speed Campag cassette with Shimano mech and shifters

Post by Andy Terry » 17 May 2014 17:26

I know sprocket spacing is different (Campag 4.55 mm, Shimano 4.35mm) but I tried this combination today and it seemed to work OK.

My thinking is that with the middle cog is lined up, then at either end of the range it's only going to be 0.8mm out - 4 changes x 0.2mm.

Any opinions?

I don't think the mech is as critical as the shifters.

Also, I think you can get a set of adapter spacers.
