Portable Power Pack

Post by AlanW » 22 Jun 2014 15:32

I'm looking for a portable power back up that runs of a couple (even maybe 4) AA batteries, so that I can recharge my Garmin when out on a ride, any recommendations?

It doesn't need to be anything fancy, and small and compact is good. The one that I have spied is the Powerchimp - HERE

And I also spotted this on Amazon that gets good reviews - HERE

I got a £2 battery usb charger from hong kong! Put any AA batteries it, plug usb cable to whatever and it sucks 'em dry. Pretty useful, also means you can just keep buying batteries while touring if you're dying for power.

Also see below for more pricey options...
