As I was wandering my way up KH12 yesterday, I thought to myself, I have to get some new shoes. Mine are starting to die, being 6 years old and suffering damage during a smash a few years a go.
Current shoes are Shimano R300 and I have been very happy with them. 20 years of walking near-barefoot, windsurfing and walking like an ape, mean that I really appreciate the wide fit plus moulded upper and insole. My mtb/touring shoes are also Shimano. So, can't see much reason to change from Shimano?
Which LBS offers a good range of Shimano shoes and professional custom fitting? (I remember one shop in Oz completely stuffing up the moulding process through incompetence.)
Thanks
p.s. new shoes was not the only thought crossing my mind during the climb
