Wheel Advice

Post by Gareth » 02 Apr 2015 22:22

After a bit of an 'incident' earlier this week I now have a buckled rear wheel. Measuring by the brake block I thinks its about 1cm from true maybe a little more.

Being a bit clueless about this sort of thing, I was wondering if its possible to get this sort of thing fixed, or should I just get myself a new wheel?

if it can be fixed is there anyone people would recommend?

Thanks!

Thanks Dave. I'll give it a go. Don't really want to have to shell out on new wheels.

+1 for Ben at Venture or get your lbs to look at it. Greg or Nick at Red Kite in Shirley or Chris Hudson (all Beacon members) can also advise or sort

Thanks guys. I took it to Ben at venture bikes this morning. He wasn't overly optimistic so I may be back on here shortly asking about what wheels to buy.
