Bike Fitting
Do people have any recommendations for bike fitting?
I'm looking at buying a new bike, but don't know if I should get a bike fit prior to buying so I don't get the wrong frame, especially if buying online!
Does anyone have any advice; either in general terms or places to have a bike fit?
Cheers,
John

I just want my measurements, so I can compare frame sizes and see what will fit me. Is this possible?Pedlo Mudguardo wrote:Greg's a fully qualified Retul fitter but I know he also has in-depth knowledge of the various other systems employed by Trek and Specialized etc.
Most of all he has lots of experience.
Mmmm John sounds a bit like you want to pay Red Kite £30 to know your measurements and then spend you decent cash elsewhere!? The life of a LBS! Charge him treble Greg! Although think I need a third bike fit as I'm still scared of the drops! So what is the damage for a Beacon qwikfit?
Or could we arrange a Beacon seminar? 6 or 7 of us pay £20 each or something and get a v basic fit and have a discussion / education session around basic bike set up and common mistakes?
