Sunday 14th August intro ride 8:30

Post by Mariana278 » 25 Jul 2022 21:29

Come along and join me for an easy going social ride out on the Beacon Introductory Ride on Sunday 14th august Meeting at the The Black Horse pub car park, Northfield, B312QT at 08:20 for a 08:30 departure.

We will be riding out to Earlswood Craft Centre at 21km for coffee and cake. The route is around 32 miles (52km) on minor roads as far as possible, over gently rolling terrain.

The pace will be of the slowest rider, which is usually between 10-13mph (13-21kph). You will be looked after throughout the ride. No one is dropped.
Route is ‪https://ridewithgps.com/routes/39607185‬

Go for it, post you name, message and join me for a great ride out and chat about joining the club or any questions you may have.

Please do read how the Introductory Rides work on our website: ‪http://beaconrcc.org.uk/club-runs/‬ (and scroll down).

Intro Rides are an important way of bringing new blood into the club and generally spreading the love of cycling. Please draw this ride to the attention of anyone who already rides a bike but isn't yet/any longer a committed club rider, and who might be interested in taking their riding a little further (literally and/or figuratively).

Hi Mariana,

Please can I join this ride? If you get responses from a full quota of cyclists new to Beacon, I'm happy to drop out.

Thanks

Ruth

As Mariana says, the next Intro Ride is scheduled for 4 September, when hopefully the weather will be a bit less oppressive. I'll be leading and plan to post details in the middle of next week. It'll be a very similar format to Mariana's ride, and may even go to the same destination. Look out for the notice on here and via our other channels. If you need more info or anything, feel free to message me via this message board, or the contact page of the club's website, or the club's Facebook group.

I look forward to maybe seeing you next month.
