Thanks Paul and everyone all in all a classic Beacon club run overcoming adversity and a good morning out. I hope Ade got home safely to warm up though. Worth remembering to always carry a waterproof in this country.

Re: D RUN SUNDAY 29TH MAY
Well Well
That did not turn out as planned, good weather forecast all week then all of a sudden we got to Black Horse and its raining.
Glum faces and all wondering whether we should cancel the ride but i made the decision to go to Earlswood, see how weather was whilst riding and when we got to Earlswood the weather was turning out for the better.
Nice lunch, good old fashioned cafe, Cyclist Special, god banter, plenty of laffs and mood lifting so decided to carry onto Packwood and beyond.
Thanks guys & girls for making it a great day out despite the weather
People who took part were
David Stephenson
Dave Cox
David Little
Rob Parker
Roland Flynn
Romina Lopez Gaston
Adrian McHugh, abandoned at Hopwwod, no rain jacket and too cold
Pete Norman, peeled off at Billesley Lane, Alvechurch
