All being well, I'll join you at the café, Kamran. I guess you'll get there about 11? (Last time I visited, it took a lifetime to get served there!)

Hey George,
Yes, should be there between 1045-11. Probably a little quicker out i'd say. Can be a little hit and miss (Staff shortages? lol). It opens at 10 so hopefully won't be too busy by the time we get there.

Thanks for organising/leading, Kamran and Si. Good to see a few people I haven't seen in a while, not least Vincenti the Invincible, who had us all worried for a few weeks but is hopefully on the path to full recovery now. One of several reasons I had for popping up at the café today was to make the acquaintance of a couple of people whose names I keep seeing in lists but haven't spoken to before. Then all I did was talk to some people I've known for years... decades in some cases! Sorry about that, all you newbies. And particularly to the chap in the orange jersey who offered to pay for my grub: I thought you were a benevolent stranger and that life would be much simpler if I troubled someone I knew. Didn't realise you were part of the group!

Turning up at the BH I was slightly surprised with the decent crowd. Si Walker was kind enough to lead another group leaving a few minutes later.
Group 1.
Kamran Anwar (L)
Roly Flynn
Phil Gameson
Michael Quinn
Mariana Sorrill
David Tipton
Steve Vaughan
Ben Bryan joined us at the BH for the ride. Don't believe he's registered with the club or the message board, but hopefully see him on a few more rides in the future. Came across the club online.

David Tipton i believe. Good seeing you and your previous experience was spot on. Probably not an ideal place for larger groups but does have some nice outdoor seating.George wrote: ↑12 Jun 2022 17:41Thanks for organising/leading, Kamran and Si.
