Sunday 3rd July, B+ ride to Burford House, 8:45

Bit longer than a normal B ride, so leaving BH at 8:45

Plan is to stop at Burford House (Tenbury Wells), then climb to Clee HIll village from Caynham...(Titterstones Clee summit optional, we can decide on the day depending on interest/how people are feeling). Maybe an ice cream stop/refreshment stop at Arley Arboretum on the way back too

Shame you couldn't make it Barry... maybe next time

Slightly delayed start as we waited a while to see if Mike Quinn would join us, but no sign and eventually left the BH at 9am.

Phil G rode with us until Bewdley (hoping to get back before the rain?). We stayed dry until we crossed the River Teme around Lindridge...the rain started coming down quite heavily and we took cover under a tree for a few mins and set off again with brighter skies on the horizon.

Service at the café was average at best...we missed the breakfast menu offerings and by this point, half the group decided on a more direct route home, the remaining three of us pushed on with the original route. Some interesting new roads for me, two fords (one dry, one wet...Hopton Wafers and Neen Savage).

Lots of climbs, much needed refreshment stops = long day in the saddle. Thanks all
