Sunday 25th; C Ride to Arley

Post by PeteNorman » 22 Sep 2022 10:22

Hi all!
I'm riding out to Arley, via Kinver and Sheepwalks, returning via St Kenelms. Cafe at the Arboretum.

Only 47 miles but 3500 feet of lovely climbing. Last year's ride no more than 13mph.
Come along and keep me company! Meet 9am Black Horse.

Thanks all, great company, a club ride to be completed at least once a year!

Sorry Pete, after 2 weeks of 'hilly' stuff I fancy something a bit flatter

Hi
This looks a lovely ride especially as it's going to be a north westerly wind - I have my Covid booster jab tomorrow so if I'm feeling OK I will join you - out of interest, there's a lovely community cafe in Kinver (great cakes etc) - I know it's a bit too early for a stop on the way out but route could go south first and then back to Kinver (hope that makes sense! Just a thought.

Hi Michelle

We could do the following

https://ridewithgps.com/routes/32639605

It’s a lovely forest ride up from Wolverley and great views from Sheepwalks, Cut out the drop to The Severn and visit Kinver on the way back, see how you feel. However not much interest from anyone else!

But I think I’ll stick to the original plan to go down to the Arboretum
