Sunday 25th Sept. Long C+ ride (60 miles) to Kenilworth
We'll start from the BH at 9:00 follow that route : https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38767262
Expected average speed 14 mph average.
Coffee stop on Kenilworth high street (coffee on the corner or costa)
Registered (see post further below for attendees):
Kamran Anwar (until Rowington green)
Naomi Bell
Ian Gannon
Ced G
Richard Leaper
Noel O Dwyer
James Perrett
NB1: Please note that due to medical reasons I use a handle-bar extender, a bit like TT-bars. I use this to relief the pain of NHS diagnosed trapped nerves in my wrists and elbow. I do NOT use these to ride like a TT racer, to draft behind others or similar performance seeking stunts.
Every bike ride, be it commute, ride alone or in group, entails its share of risks (bad road surface, motorised traffic, natural elements, our or other riders' mistakes or inattentions...). This is common knowledge and we all ride at our own risk. Nevertheless if my use of this extender this makes you feel uncomfortable, please do not join my rides.
NB2: Please also note that due to a combination of overloaded bike, love handles and betablockers, I am slow going uphill. Do not expect Alps climbing performance from me. So do not be surprised if you'll probably all overtake me during climbs. We'll regroup at the top and carry on from there.

Hi Ced
I'll try to make this one. I'll update tomorrow teatime if that's OK.

Sorry Ced, going to have to drop out. Started feeling unwell last night and hoped I’d be better this morning but not the case! Hopefully get back out next week!

Naomi got attracted in the end by the hilly west, Kamran and James preferred to stay in bed but the following riders had a nice flat-ish stroll:
Ian Gannon
Ced G
Richard Leaper
Noel O Dwyer
Will Woodhouse
... and probably one of the very few last café stop outside of the season:

Thanks for the ride Ced! Sorry for heading off the front near the end - did the rest of us head home after Icknield St? I slowed down and stayed on the route until Wychall Rd but didn't see anyone.

Absolutely no problem Richard. We were meant to keep chasing you both on but took a wrong turn, then saw Will off to home and when we turn back around it was obviously too late to catch you up. We did all the ride together, had nice chats so the last 2 miles really don't matter.
