Hi George, I'd like to join you please at Quantry/Farley/Madeley Junction at Bell Heath. Thx. Barry.

Count yourself in, Stuart.
Re: B run to Bishampton Sunday 9 October
No, it's me that should apologise, Michelle -- I failed to give a start time. The plan is to meet shortly after 09:00 for an 09:15 departure. Hopefully that's okay for you. I'll update the first post to reflect that.
Re: B run to Bishampton Sunday 9 October
Hi George
Can I join you on Sunday as well.

Hi George could you put me down for this please.
Re: B run to Bishampton Sunday 9 October
Phil, you're actually the ninth name. However, Barry won't be there for the first bit, and I won't be there for the last bit, and this is an experienced group that can be trusted to ride sensibly, so I'll fudge what I said at the start, and pull up the drawbridge behind you. See you Sunday!

Knew I should have booked on earlier was waiting to see if I was definitely about this weekend. If anyone happens to drop off I’d love to come along
Re: RIDE FULL! (B run to Bishampton Sunday 9 October)
If anyone drops out, I'll message you, James. Sorry about not being more flexible, but I want to keep the group to an 'overtakeable' size and I've told the café eight, so it's tricky.James Perrett wrote: ↑08 Oct 2022 08:07Knew I should have booked on earlier was waiting to see if I was definitely about this weekend. (I fudged it for Phil, because he asked to join before I put up the 'RIDE FULL' notice.)

Hi George
Sorry to do this at the last minute but I have woken up with a stinking cold and will not be able to keep up with the group this morning. I will therefore have to miss the ride. Have a good one

No problem, Ewan. It enabled James to join us after all. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Re: RIDE FULL! (B run to Bishampton Sunday 9 October)
Thanks to everyone for your company today. A good turnout, a lovely day for the time of year, a nice friendly café, and a very sociable, well-matched group. (Well, well-matched apart from me.)
The now septuagenarian former record-holder Wally Lowe joined us en route, and proceeded to make light of his years. Waiting for us at the café was Andy Terry, building up fitness again after a few months out due to a knee injury.
The full attendance list was therefore:
Doing all/most of the ride:
Barker, George
Evans, Barry
Gameson, Phil
Hale, Matt
Jones, Stuart
Perrett, James
Thompson, Michelle
Turner, Simon
Woodward, Simon
Doing roughly half the ride:
Lowe, Wally
At the café and on part of the return leg
Terry, Andy
