Won't have enough time this week-end for a long C ride. So will only do a short burst.
We'll start from the BH at 9:30 and follow that route :

NB1: Please note that due to medical reasons I use a handle-bar extender, a bit like TT-bars. I use this to relief the pain of NHS diagnosed trapped nerves in my wrists and elbows. I do NOT use these to ride like a TT racer, to draft behind others or similar performance seeking stunts.
Every bike ride, be it commute, ride alone or in group, entails its share of risks (bad road surface, motorised traffic, natural elements, our or other riders' mistakes or inattentions...). This is common knowledge and we all ride at our own risk. Nevertheless if my use of this extender makes you feel uncomfortable, please do not join my rides.

NB2: Please also note that due to a combination of overloaded bike, love handles and betablockers, I am slow going uphill. Do not expect Alps climbing performance from me. So do not be surprised if you'll probably all overtake me during climbs. We'll regroup at the top and carry on from there.

Very sorry Dave and Sarah. Since yesterday afternoon the beacon website and message board were unaccessible to me, both via wifi and mobile data. Also unaccessible on my laptop home.
Just saw your post Dave while driving back home yesterday, but once home (and started to feel a bit off) it was out of reach. Impossible to find you on Strava or Beacon FB group so had no way to inform you.
As to you Sarah, i was long asleep when you expressed interest.
Very sorry about this hoped you both managed to quench your thirst for cycling one way or another. Tried early this morning to inform you but website still looking down. Now back through mobile data, but still down on WiFi, strange and annoying
