We had three club runs out on Sunday, namely an A-ride led by Paul Johnson - lovely to see him back out leading, his dulcet tones with shakesperian gravitas filling the country air... Si Woodward leading a very popular B-ride to the View at Wooton Wawen, and Mick Stanford, leading the BC Guided Ride to Earlswood. Unfortunately, the planned C and D rides had to be cancelled due to illness and unavailability, but thanks to all who put their name forward to lead.
Out in the non-muddy fields of Top Barn north of Worcester, the latest round of the WMCCL (Cross) took place, with again only two Beacon riders, but well done to Matt Russell and Helen Jamieson for riding well....don't forget that Beacon are hosting a round of the WMCCL on December 4th in Walsall. You will see a list of jobs that need doing on the day and day before on a Fb post. Please take a look at that and help out please....there will be no club runs that day, so come along and help.
You will also have noticed that you received an email from Beacon last week (CHECK YOUR SPAM IF YOU DIDN'T RECEIVE THIS), asking for your views on club runs, and again, we are particularly interested in the last two freeform questions, so feel free to put what you want there! We have already had 42 responses, so a huge thank you for those that have already done it, and it will remain open till Hallowe'en, or the next four Chancellors of the Exchequer, whichever comes first
. I'll also put the form on FB for those who rely on Mr Zuckerburg for their news.....Let's have a full set of rides this coming weekend if possible...you will already see that Rich Chaplin has posted another BC Guided Ride under Beacon's banner, the first of these he has led after completing the BC Ride Leader training...great stuff, Rich.
