I think it has been a while since Rays Farm was last used a club run venue, so this news may just pass people by.

But as i have saud before i think its the start of many closures

Jinny Ring closing Tues & Weds
Springridge Garden Centre closed all January
Boar & Willow open from 15 Jan and they will be reviewing opening days

Acton Scott Farm Museum and it's cafe have also shut. Whilst too far away for club runs, it was the first stopping point on the Kidder Killer Audax. The museum was once subject to the TV series, The Victorian Farm.

Mounting losses are cited to it's operators, Shropshire Council. The decision has been called in by the Lib Dems on the Scrutiny Committee but I doubt the decision will be reversed. Shropshire Council will surrender the lease back to the Acton Scott Estate. I hope the latter find away to reopen the cafe and museum.
