Steady B ride - Sunday 5th November - 9.15am depart

The weather looks dry on Sunday with a westerly wind - with this in mind, I suggest a ride in the direction of Arley / Wyre forest, so we have a tail wind home. Aprrox 50 miles and about 3,000ft of steady climbing!
I will post the ride later today.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow - as the group looks quite big and there will inevitably be a difference in climbing speed, I suggest we split the group into 2 at The Black Horse so everyone is comfortable with the pace!

A decision was made to split the group at the BH - the ride I led was as below. I thought we might meet the other group at the Wyre Forest cafe but apart from Ben, who had a mechanical en route, no other riders came to the cafe whilst we were there!

By the way, for reasons unknown Ride With GPS severely underestimates the amount of climbing. The route looks pretty much identical to the route I pinched from Sean Barker many years ago. The last time I did that in August my Garmin recorded just over 4,000 feet of climbing. I had a complaint from one person on that ride that I had got the amount of climbing wrong when I posted the route.
