Phil, I won't be on the ride, but I'm hoping to meet you at Rowberry's. However, that does depend on me shaking off a filthy cold that I've managed to pick up somewhere. I don't want to go spoiling anyone else's Christmas by passing it on, so I won't come unless I'm confident that I'm over it.

My "filthy cold" turns out to be Covid. I'll therefore be staying away in order to avoid giving anybody the gift of viral life for Christmas.
