I'll lead a "soft" c run to Lavendar Hall fisheries on 11th October. This will be no more than 50 miles, relatively flat and within club run guidelines for pace. The intention is to provide an opportunity for any recent intro riders (there was a couple on the September one and I guess there maybe others on the October ride) who are uncertain of making that step up from 30/35 miles to 50 ish. Hope that is ok and can be run as a c run rather than a separate d run or similar? I will post similar comments on the October 11th thread nearer the time

I'll take the B run 4/10 to Broadway Tower last long ride before we put the summer bike away. :(
Probably going to make this a 8.15am start.

Due to the cancellation of the Rendovelo café event this Sunday the C run won't be going to Leamington. I will be planning a nice route with some decent hills on Saturday to celebrate the high pressure which the Met office say will still be with us. Brunch at the Kinver Edge café.

On the 13th December there is a short Cyclists Carol Service in Meriden compete with mince pies courtesy of John Bennett. Not my usual scene but I want to discuss the May Meriden Cyclists Memorial Service with the Vicar. Happy to lead a C run over there. I'll get the timings closer to the event. We might need lights!

I find myself struggling to meet a work deadline and could really do with working most of the weekend to make up time.

Can anyone who is due to lead a B run in the next couple of weeks swap with me? Alternatively, can someone else step into the breach this weekend, and I'll do the next free weekend (13/12)?

I haven't yet booked the café, so you aren't obliged to stick to the planned destination if you take over. However, if you want to stick to it, I can provide a GPX file as a starting point for your route planning.

Sorry to be a pain.

Conscious of recent unreliability and failure to lead promised runs, I am willing to lead:

- Sunday's A run on 29th Nov. If anyone with a better track record wishes to volunteer, then I am happy to be usurped.

- Sunday 27th December. Venue: Wyre Forest Cafe

All subject to ice-free conditions.

And I'll do B 13/5. Has the B run been to Evesham recently? Maybe we'll go there.

George, do you mean this Sunday? I guess that 13/5 is not referring to the 13th May.

Sorry... I don't know how that 5 got in there! I meant 13/12, i.e. the next date on which no one else has so far volunteered to lead a B run.

This is very embarrassing, but I've discovered this morning that the alternative Sunday I've volunteered for is one when I'm supposed to be doing something else. Sincere apologies for the shoddy diary management.

The weekend after the one I'd volunteered for is the Xmas gathering, and the one after that I'm away visiting the in-laws. So I'll now have to leave it until January, I'm afraid.
