A Run to Coalport
This will be the last chance to use the Coalport YHA cafe before it closes for the winter season. The outbound route will be via Claverley; returning via Highley.
The weather forecast is not promising for next weekend with a likely return of very wet and windy weather. If the poor conditions materialise, the A run will be truncated at an alternative venue.

B run
Sunday's B run to Kenilworth will be quite flat really so again it's another opportunity for any C runners to take the plunge! Cafe stop is 'time for tea' so bring a lock if you have 1, weather is looking dry at the moment as well

Pete - if I can get the computer to work tonight with the garmin, I can get the run back from lavender hall fisheries
Mark - the run to lavender hall and back is around 50 miles. I know that group cycling is 'easier' than solo riding, but I'm not experienced enough to give you advice. The last time the c run did that route, we averaged 13mph. Hope that info helps.

If you’re all about the destination, take a f#€king flight!

Great stuff Hels
I can lead back to the road towards Knowle if that helps. From there it's pretty straightforward.
See you in the morning.
My route out is 49kms from the Black Horse.

Routes back around 30kms dependent on how quickly you want to get back. The pace will not be fast and its an ideal route for a first timer, not hilly and minor roads.
Here's a route back you may want to use. Shortish and avoiding most busy roads.

An eventful and truncated ride, due to several **flat**s which seemed to take forever to fix for some reason.
We split into two rides and a different leader on the way back, so how that it is worked for points I don't know
Here's who was on it.
Pete Marshall Lead on the way out
Dave Cox lead the last bit for a second group of **flat**d riders.
Helen Jamison lead back from the cafe.
Simon Turner didn't make the cafe.
Mark Harris
Si Walker
Dave Little
Amelia Rouse
Kim Shapiro
Mark McConkey
Anne Hughes
Huan Dong
Colin Hall
Some new faces today, its not usually like this

Thanks to everyone for the company. Figures were slightly down this weekend due to A run riders being spread around the country on varying cycling activities.

C run
First of all thanks to Pete, Helen and Pete C For leading the rides today.
Amelia had a slow **flat** today and when we got to Earlswood , there were no trains running. I thought about about just leaving a new club member stranded there- not a good idea so off to Wythall where I spotted trains to where Amelia wanted to go.
I hope she got home safely!

Re: C run
For future refence Dorridge or Whitocks Ends are best bet for trains from that area on a Sunday both have regular Sunday service to Moor Street.Yosser wrote:First of all thanks to Pete, Helen and Pete C For leading the rides today.
