10 of us decided to brave the wind this morning and we headed to wild side cafe at Ombersley. We appeared to have gone right into the headwind and at one point, Waseley hills cafe beckoned but we persevered and by the time we got to Lord Mortons we all had the appetite for a little more suffering and carried on to Ombersley.
Unfortunately for differing reasons Amelia Rouse and Rob Parker returned before Quantry Lane which left 8 of us at Wildside cafe.
There was still sufficient tailwind to push us back home at a good pace ( by c standards) and some impressive Strava segments have been noted.
Although the cafe is on a busy road, we had excellent service, good food and very reasonable prices, ideal venue today in terms of distance.
A great group today and really enjoyed everyone's company and assistance taking the lead (albeit with the tailwind....grrrrr.....only kidding).
Out today were
John Deeley (L)
Simon Turner
Mark McConkey
Mark Gardner
Andy Wrightson
Joe Warwood
Kim Shapiro
Helen (A38 QoM) Jamieson
Cheers all, turned out to be a great morning out on the bike

Thanks for leading again. I know it was tough in that wind.
And before this reignites any Strava/segment chasing criticism/comments, I'd like to point out that I wasn't chasing a QOM, I was just enjoying stretching my legs after lagging way behind everyone and struggling up the previous hill! The QOM is a bonus.
If you’re all about the destination, take a f#€king flight!
B run to Leamington
Cheers for today James, a nice route and the cafe served some good food, thanks all for the company.
