Club Runs - 20th December

Post by WorcsPhil » 14 Dec 2015 10:50

It's the pre-Christmas club run this coming Sunday, with all club runs finishing at the Swan in Chaddesley Corbett (...which does a mean pint of Bathams).

A: The Swan via Chuchfields (Salwarpe) - Phil Whiteman
B: The Swan via Halfpenny Green Airport - James Tate
C: The Swan via Stourport - Dave Cox

Even if you're not cycling, everyone is welcome at the pub from 12 noon onwards.

Actually, I will probably just lead an A run. The danger of leading a single large group will be overwhelming the cafe at once. Two groups will distribute the load. The cafe destination could still be Churchfields. If there are only a few on either run, then we could of course combine. It does not matter if we ride as a single group to the Swan.

Can somebody offer to lead the B run?

Here is a suggested route for any prospective B run leader: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/11472952

Persons not wishing to ride to terminate at the Swan will be more than welcome to join the run.

I'll take the B to Halfpenny Green Airfield Cafe then onto the pub...55km route.

This will be my last club run for a bit - so after lasts week's rehearsal I'd be happy to lead the C Run choristers via Stourport to the Swan. Please bring spare tubes, pumps, warm clothes, waterproofs, gloves, shoe covers, tuning forks and visible lights front and rear! #basics!
