Great to see new people stepping up to lead A and B rides, and hopefully finding that the world didn't fall off it's axis. Keep 'em coming.

This weeks rides for Paris Roubaix weekend are:

A: Clows Top - Phil Richards
B: Pershore - Neil 'Pedal' Orchard
C: Halfpenny Green Airport - Pete Marshall

Think we're all back at 09:15 starts this week, before a bout of 100 in x hours rides in the next two weeks.

The A-ride this week is short by recent standards but has masses of teeth...and is known as the Stourport Stinger route....reminiscent of last week's Tour of Flanders climbs.

The route is here, but may change if it's wet. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/12961580

Café is the Colliers Farm and Tea rooms at halfway (Clows Top)...come along and have some fun in the forest, I'm pretty crap at climbing so all welcome to join me at the back.

I'll take the C ride.
Halfpenny Green airport. More Flanders than Roubaix, bumpy and lumpy.

B run

Weather looks pretty good at the moment if not a little fresh to start, flat...ish route and about 70 miles in total (less if the weather changes) good opportunity for C runners to step up, bring a lock.

Beautiful spring weather for the 7 of us on the B run today, coffee #1 was good as usual, special mention for Leoni on her 1st B run after stepping up from her usual C run (and on a hybrid) whizzing up the hills! B runners were

Neil Orchard
Paul Johnson
Andy deere
Tess oelofse
Leoni 'hill climb' balter
Neil lynch
Nic Shenton (to the cafe)

The A-run turned into the annual hill-finding championships, with all of the steep Wyre Forest climbs enjoyed by everybody (?)

Making it to the café were:

Phil Richards (Leading)
Matt Regan
Nathan Cardon
Paul Watkins
Ka Li
Ben Walmsley
Craig Walmsley
Alistair Hey
Matt Clegg
John Lutwyche

Good also to see Gary MacIntosh at the café...Ian Taylor and Keith Adcock peeled off early with better things to do than grind up the steepest hills in Worcestershire...very wise.

Particular welcome to John and Ka on their first clubs runs, both strong riders, and good to see Ka, a well-known long distance audaxer taking a week off between 300kms rides.

If nothing else, the route was good training for the 3 LMTT'ers on the ride.
