Club runs - Tuesday 27th December

Apologies for late post, but I went on a bike ride instead!

Anyway, just like the Christmas TV listings, I've posted a thread for each of the next two weeks, so there's no excuse about not being aware of the dates.

Once again an excellent turnout for the Chaddelsey Corbett pub ride, with over 35 riders at the Black Horse and plenty of others making their own way there. Particular thanks to James Tate for stepping in and leading the B ride after Nick Shenton was struck down with a type of Ebola-Typhoid virus, otherwise known as man flu.I hope everybody made it home safely...Lord Whiteman was reporting various stragglers weaving their way home through Drayton well into the evening...

There is obviously no ride on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, but there is one scheduled for Tuesday 27th December, leaving at 09:15, and whaddye know, we've got a full listing of leaders...Note that not all cafes will be open, so leaders, please check before posting...Wyre Forest is definitely open. The Tuesday 27th club runs are:

B: Cobhouse Fisheries - Paul Johnson
C: Akamba - James Tate (Carolyn Clegg indisposed)

Finally, I wish all Beaconites and their families a very merry Christmas, and may Wiggle vouchers of eye-watering value be found in your stockings on Christmas morn.

Not the longest A-run in the world, at just 90kms, so all should be home just after 1pm, although you can break off for your own 200km loop if you want to.
