Club Runs - 30th December
A healthy turnout to the pub on Sunday for a Christmas drink. At least 17 riders rode there, and plenty of Beaconites making their own way to the pub. Great to see Dave and Ann Cole there also...Happy Christmas, El Presidente.
...and wasn’t it great to have puddle water and mud back on the road. My how we laughed as we washed our kit...
Anyway, enjoy Christmas and see you next week for more of the same. This week, we have the Spirit of Christmas, Paul Johnson leading the A-ride, dishing out presents and goodwill to his fellow man and woman. Why not volunteer to lead a B or C ride on the last ride of the calendar year? Thus week’s rides are:
A: Cobhouse - Paul Johnson
B: Clows Top - Richard Leaper
C: Volunteer leader required

If anyone has a .fit file for a route to Clows Top that I can access, I could lead a B ride there.

Hi guys,
Directed here from FriendFace - can any of the ride leaders give me an idea of the rough eta back to Northfield for A or B rides, accounting for speed and stop.
I realise there's a bit of 'how long is a piece of strong' but I'm thinking of joining you if the times work. If not, there will be another opportunity!
Cheers

The A ride should be about 60miles hopefully back by 2.00pm if that helps.simplysimon wrote: ↑28 Dec 2018 16:13Hi guys,

On today's B-jou Run to Clows Top were:
Richard Leaper (L)
Brett Henshaw
Small but perfectly formed, perhaps?
A tough 34-mile route out meant a late arrival; that coupled with a long café stop meant we got back to BH at about 2:50. Given the 5000ft of climbing - should have known Nick Shenton's route would be hilly - 14.8 mph average was a bit quick for a B but we managed OK.

Re: Club Runs - 30th December
Hi...I think there was an impromptu C-run also on Sunday? Can someone post here with names as I noticed another half dozen at the Black Horse that are not accounted for in these lists.
Thanks
Phil
