Northfield is inside the route which involves road closures in our neck of the woods 08:15-18:00.
Given it's 80 miles into the route it's hard to imagine it would be difficult to cross the road as a pedestrian for the start of the club run but club run leaders might like to give it some thought especially for the return leg.

Or keep the club runs short, stick up the gazebo, and hand out cake, sweets and cheers to riders

Yes please! It would be great to see the beacon gazebo up! I’d do it, but I’m riding the velo!
If you’re all about the destination, take a f#€king flight!

Sorry I was going to do but I've just won two entries so having to ride! Was great last time and looking forward to the new route. Would be great for 20k riders to see our name and be cheered on by us

12th May club runs resolved, thanks to a great idea from Nick:

This is ideal for those of you wanting to avoid the hoarding masses of cyclists on the Velo Birmingham event.
Starting from Trentham Gardens in Stoke-On-Trent- More details to follow on the Beacon Facebook page and Messageboard.
