Club Runs - 21st April

22 riders out on the three club runs on Sunday...was there a women's ride on Saturday? If so, please can you post names... Thanks to me, Matt and Colin for leading the three rides on a chilly, but otherwise fine day.

It's Easter this weekend, but club rides stop for nothing...well, apart from snow. So apart from snow, club runs stop for nothing, except ice, oh and club events. Club runs are often stopped, but wait... not this weekend. It may be Easter, so what better way of celebrating the season than being on your bike? It's written in the scriptures.

So this week's ride has a brand new A-ride leader and a new café, what could be more exciting? Be good if you feel similarly inspired and do likewise, so put your name down below! This week's rides are:

A: Broad Acre Fisheries (Hanbury) - Ben Crone
B: Volunteer required
C: Pump House Eco Cafe (Worcester) - Andy Terry

Women's ride on Saturday at 08:30...watch here or on facebook for details.

100km, out via clent hills, belbroughton and round to Wychbold. Cafe at 56km, then loop back via inkberrow and feckenham.

If you were pushed for time the cafe is only ~12 miles from the black horse if you needed to head straight back then (or after).

Heading out tomorrow (instead of Sunday) if anyone wants to tag along. B ride pace, approx 55 mile round trip for me from Bearwood. Heading towards halfpenny green, so could stop off at Clent or Romsley along the way

Post on here if interested

I'll lead a C run to the Pump House in Worcester (another new cafe I think) but there's a catch. You'll need to find your way to Tardebigge and I'll lead it from there. Usual start time 9.15 from BH, approx 9.45 at Tardebigge. About 90km (56 miles) round trip.

The Eco Cafe will have to wait for another day, but Cafe Loco turned out to be a decent substitute.

A fine time was had by all on todays sunny and scenic A run to Broad Acres Fisheries - a great little cafe, nothing fancy but with good food for little money.
In attendance where:

Ben Crone (L)
Paul Baptist
Rebecca Marshall
Jess Rhodes-Jones
Xavier Disley
Vincent Tenant
Paul Johnson
Phil Elwell
Martin McGowan
Spencer Tapia
Neil Orchard

Paul B & Rebecca are new to Birmingham and it was their first time out with the Beacon.
