Club runs - 5th May

28 riders out on Sunday's three club runs, so thanks to Nick, Simon and Helen leading the A, B and C respectively...especially Helen given she was a reluctant leader, but stepped forward bombing.

Oh, and get your name down to support our Academy event, namely kid's grass racing next Monday (Bank Holiday) at 2pm at Rowheath...we've got a few people, but the more the merrier...see Adrian Ravenscroft's call-outs either on this message board or on Facebook (inevitably)

So we enter the month of May, the spring classics are over, and the Giro d'Italia is about to begin. Has there ever been a better reason to don your Italian Beacon top and come out on a club run. We have a 200kms A-run this week, but there is still space to lead a B, C or Intro run this Sunday, so why not post below.

This week's rides are:

A: 200kms to Towcester - Paul Johnson (meet at 07:30 for 07:45 start), probably in his new Team Ineos jersey... :D
B: Albrighton - Nick Shenton
C: Alcester - Pete Norman

Intro Ride: Leader and support required

Women's ride on Saturday morning - see below and on Facebook for details...

On today's B Run to Albrighton were:

Nick Shenton (Leading)
James Tate
Neil Lynch
Phil Whiteman
Matt Hale
Toby Hale
Laurie Derbyshire
Richard Leaper
Phil Gameson
Joe Perini
Andy Owen
John Soade
Andy McGrath
Robert Wade

Alistair Hey joined the ride from the Black Horse but peeled off at Kinver.

Thanks all for an enjoyable ride, apologies if the pace ramped up a little on the way out. It's very difficult to judge in such a large group, if people at the back are coping so it's important for others to pass the message up towards the front if a rider is struggling.
