Route includes urban cycleway, canal towpath, a hill, a roman road, lakes and a cafe like no other.

Avoncroft Museum Tea Rooms. This is a different version of the route posted above. Longer at 40 miles due to a slight detour to Feckenham and it goes clockwise so you avoid the the climb up Lickey on the way back.

I had an enquiry via Cycling UK website from Forge Mill Needle Museum in Redditch who have a café and are keen to attract cycling groups. There are light refreshments at the Mill Cafe with courtyard seating (sort of outside but with a polysomething roof and heaters). Ideal for cycling with the ongoing COVID risk.

I rode out there last week and met Sarah Whittles who does their publicity and has a lot of cycling experience it's a pleasant venue good for Intro or SC rides. You probably need some experience negotiating Redditch's shared paths to find it off Forge Mill Road on Needle Mill Lane I came down Icknield St and then navigated by the river. There’s massive signs for drivers on the A441and it's almost next to the Abbey Stadium where we do the cyclocross.

Details see https://www.forgemill.org.uk/web/ Sarah’s email is Sarah.Whittles@rubiconleisure.co.uk and probably worth warning her if we use it.

I'll do a route sometime and take an Intro or D Run. Last week's is on Strava but I braved the A441 (not recommended) to get back to Alvechurch and then over Cobley Hill.
