I have found the Club Runs database to be invaluable during lockdown so a big “Thank You!” to all those whose routes are posted there... Which leads me to wonder whether club mates have any ridewithgps routes to Phils cafes with takeaway service?
To add to his takeaway list: the Farm Shop at Yew Tree Farm, Wootten Wawen is opening Thursday to Saturday - www. yew-tree-farm.co.uk, and Wedges Bakery and Cafe and Marsin Bakers both at Hockley Heath seem to be open most days -

I might have to give one of these a go. Coffee that I haven't made in my kitchen is starting to feel mythical.

Very useful thread, Phil. Many thanks!
Since lockdown began, I've replaced my Sunday café ride with a Sunday picnic ride. They have been fun, but they imply riding my touring bike, which is slow. And slowness has implications for how far afield I can roam. I'm therefore thinking about starting to use takeaway facilities. However, in my book, the pleasure of a café stop is greatly diminished if there isn't somewhere agreeable to sit and drink my coffee. I'm not interested in standing on a petrol station forecourt sipping Costa Express from a non-recyclable cardboard beaker.
So I'm interested to hear what the arrangements are at places such as Clives. Are you allowed to sit at suitably socially distanced intervals at the tables outside, for example? With no sitting down inside, are people congregating closely outside?

Broomfields at Holt Heath do a very good takeaway service. Teas, coffees, breakfasts, sandwiches and cakes, with plenty of space to spread yourselves out in the orchard
