'New Normal' club runs - Sunday 26th July

Post by WorcsPhil » 20 Jul 2020 10:57

Well, that seemed to go ok, eh?

A huge thank you for the people who put forward 'new normal' club runs at the weekend, and for following our guidance to the letter...so thanks to Matt Hale, Si Turner, Dave Cole and Andrew O'Connor. We had 18 riders out on those four rides, so well within guidelines.

...and as I said, anyone can initiate club runs on any day in this 'new normal' and I see that we have a suggested ride this Wednesday from Andrew, so if you're around, why not join him by signing up in advance.

It was also the Beacon Bakers Dozen on Sunday, a horrendous (but strangely fun) day of climbing 13 hills in the Cotswolds between Ilmington and Winchcombe. On this ride climbing a variety of numbers of hills were (I think):

Chris Ashford
Fenella Brown
Eugene Farrell
Neil Lynch
Martin McGowan
Phil Richards
Vince Tennant
Andy Terry
Rob Wade
John Williams
Philip Whiteman
Simon Woodward
Andy Wrightson

If I have missed anyone, please let me know...a club point awaits.

Please post below for club rides this week using the same rules as last week...shown again here

Brum 200 - Clockwise starting from Stourport 08:00

I'll lead a 200Km ride this Sunday that follows Paolo Coppo's Brum 200 route but starting in Stourport and going anti-clockwise. Pace will be around 14Mph.

Let me know if you fancy coming along

Signed up so far
