'New Normal Club Runs - Sunday 6th September

Post by WorcsPhil » 31 Aug 2020 09:43

we're getting used to this 6-riders full system now, eh? Thanks again to all those leading and coming along and ensuring we ride responsibly as a club, whilst enjoying some outdoor activities. Another four rides at the weekend, ably led by Nick Shenton, Neil Evanson, Si Walker and Mariana Sorrill, thanks to those four in particular for stepping up.

I've been looking at the guidance for outdoor meetings and it still fixed at six people The police only have the powers to challenge/arrest groups of 30 or more, but even so, we'll stick to these club run rules of max 6 for the time being...

So, this week...the weather again looks settled, so what a time to ride the 'Teme Tickler', a devious 112kms ride starting from Great Witley, encompassing all the hills in the region, including some we've never ridden before. See Philip Whiteman's separate post for details, although for this ride, it is not mandatory to sign up in advance given the staggered/free-form starting times. Hope to see some of you out there!

Usual rules if you want to lead, post a SEPARATE thread with details of your ride, marking as RIDE FULL when you have a total of six riders including yourself.

Thanks Phil for your message on Teme Tickler. That was proposed before club runs recommencing so unless there is any demand for the Teme Tickler, I will assume that people will head off for normal club runs instead.
