Even-newer normal Club Runs - Sunday 27th December

Post by WorcsPhil » 22 Dec 2020 16:55

Hi all,

a very merry Christmas to you all, although I suspect our conversations will be something like:

"Hiya, have a good Christmas?"
"Quiet, how about you?"
"Yes, quiet as well"

Let your highlight be Call the Midwife. :D

So play by the rules and hopefully, all may be a little bit brighter next year #fingerscrossed.

I know there have been a few queries on the legitimacy of club runs, but as far as the Committee's reading of the rules go, we are fine in what we are doing, as long as:

- No more than six riders
- NO cafe stops
- Social distance when stopped for any reason
- Shop stops to be limited or not all.

In other words, we are limiting club runs at present to shorter distance non-stop Beacon Burst rides, so enjoy your turkey and hope to see you out on a ride either next week or into 2021. There will be club runs this coming Sunday, Tier 4 announcements and leaders permitting, so if you're keen, please post details of your ride in a separate thread on the message board and mark as RIDE FULL when you reach six.

Thanks all...

Phil
