RIDE FULL Beacon Burst Sunday 4th April - 9am departure

43 miles from Black Horse to Man On The Moon, taking in Lickeys, Alvechurch, Tanworth, Henley, Lapworth. Back via Earlswood and Wythall.

15.5mph average or thereabouts (70km at 25kph)

I’ll be at the Black Horse for 8.45am and leave at 9am (earlier if everyone there before 9).

Six riders now registered. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. I have missed group rides.

Nope. Strava one won’t export to wahoo and the hammerhead one doesn’t have the option to export

Well that was nice!

Good little group that - thanks all... a perfect return to group riding as far as I’m concerned.

The “Beoley free for all” between Church Hill and Aspley Heath is a permanent fixture on my Burst rides from now on. Apart from that, it was mostly disciplined, usually two abreast, civilised ride in the lanes. We finished at the Man On The Moon a mere 0.2 kph over the over the advertised pace. I’m going to collapse in front of The Tour Of Flanders on TV now. Happy Easter!
