Club runs for the weekend of 5th September

Well what do you know...August has come and gone without a drop of rain (or sunshine)...anyway, as it's September, you need to ride club runs before all your winter kit is brought out of the wardrobe. There was an excellent set of club runs at the weekend, topped off by the 'oddball bike' club run to Churchfields on Bank Holiday Monday, and great to see so may esteemed members riding to an excellent outside venue. What an excuse to bring out old bikes from the shed, and ride them one mo' time.

We had a little competition by adding up the ages of the rider and their bike to see the highest cumulative score, and Dave Cole won with a total of 131...so the bike must be incredibly old, eh  Notable cumulative ages of well over 100 were shared by a few, but a special mention to Keith Adcock, who (I think?) was second with a very creditable 122 cumulative age.

This week, we have the last month of the Tuesday bash, a Wednesday day ride out to Wellesbourne if anyone is free, and, no doubt a plethora of wonderful rides this coming weekend, so we'll finish where we started...get yourself out there and join in....you're only 131 once.
