I'll lead a Saturday ride to Heightington - Nothing Bound brewery taphouse departing the Black Horse at 9:15.

Nothing Bound produce a range of Pales and IPAs (plus the occasional stout). The taphouse (open from midday) is in a converted barn and a lovely setting to sample some of the quality beers on offer.

There will also be food from Fat Eddie's Smokehouse (burgers and brisket).

Here's the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/37500832
We'll probably have a breakfast stop at Gils', Wolverley

This sounds like fun, Matt, but sadly doesn't fit with my other plans and work commitments. I look forward to hearing your report! Enjoy!

Thanks George...shame you couldn't join us. The ride report might be more of a beer review :)

Morning Matt

I donโ€™t suppose thereโ€™s room for a last minute tag on? :-)

Well if you missed this, you missed a great ride.

We were treated to some wonderful late summer weather, on a route largely familiar to most, but with a different route through Wyre Forest up to Far Forest (via Meaton Lane).

After a good amount of climbing, we'd earned our reward ๐Ÿ˜‰. Fat Eddie was waiting for us with some amazing burgers and brisket, washed down with a selection of Nothing Bound's finest. It must be good, Rich Bussell arrived with another group that looked like they meant business ๐Ÿ˜. After we'd worked our way through the menu, we set off for home, waving Chris goodbye at Belbroughton. Not wanting the day to finish, we decided to finish the ride with a cheeky visit to the fixed wheel ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿป.

A great day in good company!
