Jack (just in case Nick doesn't see your message in time), the start is the Black Horse, Northfield. See http://beaconrcc.org.uk/club-runs/ for details. Most people ride to the BH. It does have parking, but strictly speaking it's for patrons only. There are usually two or three parking places on the A38 itself, just 30 metres or so south of the BH, on the towards-town side of the road. Alternatively, you can often park in the housing estate behind the BH (Newlyn Road or Hill Top Road).
