Weekly Club Update and Club runs for the weekend of 27th March

WEEKLY UPDATE:

Getting bored of these yet? :D Anyway, a lovely sunny day greeted us on Sunday, and four rides headed out from the BH at 9am. Thanks to Dave Cole, James Bendle and his gravel ride club run, Cedric Gioan and myself for leading these and for all who turned out nice again.

It was also the Mad March Hare Sportive on Sunday and this is a locally run event, so good to see loads of Beacon tops out on this ride also...no club run points though!

So this week sees the Beacon First Aid Course, and there is still one vacancy...WE NEED ONE MORE PERSON TO SIGN UP FOR THIS, PLEASE!!!

...and it is the first Time Trial of the season this coming Saturday, a 20miler leaving from Shell Ford, near Bradley Green. George Lazenby has done a fantastic job in setting up the series of Beacon TT's this year, mostly focused around the Earlswood 4.5milesx2 course, including a number of 2-up events starting from next month. I've heard a few people talking about teaming up for these 2-uppers, so have a word with your mates and get a mini competition going amongst yourselves. It's always more interesting with a shilling on the side. Anyway, enter the first 20mile TT using this link.

It's Mother's Day next Sunday, but club rides are still encouraged so get your names down to lead... Looks a humdinger of a week weather-wise, so whatever you're doing, have a good one and see you on the road.
