Hi, Just got to get more club run points so will lead D run Thursday leave 9.30 at Black Horse loop around a bit then stop at Umberslade on way home. Nice cafe with some outdoor seating !!

Well no one signed up but I went to Black Horse to make sure no one turned up and then led the ride solo. One Dave on a D Run is quorate - Right?
Rear avenue entrance to Umberslade was locked and I didn't want to put my back out lifting the touring bike through the kissing gate so by-passed Umberslade and had a great value cyclists' special plus two cappuccinos and carrot cake at the always excellent Manor House tearooms. Bit of sleet welcomed me back to Kings Norton but otherwise lanes sheltered from the northerly wind, warmed up by hills and plenty of sunshine.
