The Wizard and the Llamas Audax 2nd September 2012

Post by Philip Whiteman » 18 Mar 2012 13:29

Our friends from the North Cheshire Clarion who are frequent participants on our own audaxes have sent us the following ad:

Hi,

It’s back! The second running of North Cheshire Clarion’s 115km Audax ‘The Wizard and the Llamas’ will take place on Sunday 2nd Sept 2012.

Following feedback from our successful first event last year we’ve made a few small changes, the start has been put back to 08:30 to give a bit more time in bed for those travelling from a distance and the number of riders has been increased to 120.

We’ve kept the same great route and you can be sure we will have the same great cakes at the end.

The Wizard is an ideal introduction to Audax rides for those new to this type of ride, although make sure you look at the profile around the middle 30Km and get some hills in your legs!

All the details can be found by clicking on the event link from our website at:

www.northcheshireclarion.co.uk

where you can also enter on-line.

Please could you publicise the details to your members via your forum, events list etc.

Many thanks,

Andrew Williams
