I'd like to wish Paul Campbell the best of luck with his ride in the Bryan Chapman Memorial Audax this weekend.

Paul has also completed the 400 Brevet Cyrmu. So I am told by Paul, 400s are far more challenging than a 600 due to the inability to ever stop for a sleep. There again, the Chapman is no easy feet. Last year, most riders rode the Bryan Chapman with only a couple of hours sleep on this hilly route across the length of Wales.
Previous Chapman riders include Eddie Sumner and former Beacon members, Andy and Fenella.
Paul has achieved the greatest distance so far with a total of 2.908km across 13 events . He looks on course to win the year's Audax trophy as an AUK Beacon RCC registered rider with the greatest distance to date.
