I know that some members are building up their miles in readiness for next year's Elenith. In case, you are interested in joining another Beacon member, I have entered Mark Rigby's event in just over a week's time. It should be a nice route.

well what a day that was ,a broken rear hub 40 mile in... piss wet... dead I-phone ... oh ye, almost forgot a parking ticket on return.

Very bad luck, Matt.

But you did miss the devilish floods on the way back to Tewkesbury.

I would certainly wish to attempt this audax again. If you fancy doing it again, Mark Rigby has produced the route as a permanent event.
