Begwyns Books & Stones are Dead; Long live Wenlock, Begwyns & Stones

If you missed entering this event, then that is your tough luck. So nerrr.

For the elite that have succeeded entering the first audax of the season, route sheets, GPX files and start times have been e-mailed out.

The new English route "Wenlock, Begwyns and Stones" will provide a painful start to the summer audax season with painful legs guaranteed. That was not the intention but it just turned out that way, sorry! On the positive side, the route follows some grand lanes traversing Wenlock Edge before reaching the desperate frontier town of Craven Arms. After which it is any easy stint to Kington before the ascent of Brilley Mountain, soon followed by The Scar for Arthur's Stones. The route uses very little main road.

Surplus from this year's audaxes will be donated to https://www.wyreforestnightstop.org.uk/about-us
